| It is very important to clean your feeder. Do not let seed accumulate in the bottom of the feeder. The Quick-Clean® removable base makes cleaning your feeder easy. We suggest a quick cleaning of the inside of the bottom of the feeder each time you refill the feeder. To remove the Quick-Clean base, simply squeeze the two buttons on the underside of the base and slide the base down. For a more thorough cleaning, (we suggest a 10% bleach, 90% water solution for cleaning every few weeks) the seed deflector may also be removed. Squeeze the sides of the seed deflector and slide it up and off the base unit. Clean out the residue and replace the deflector and base. |
